I'm Risa Goldberg, founder of The Adoption Studio. I've spent 25 years in consulting and change management, over 20 of them at Accenture, leading enterprise technology adoption for emerging technologies. I started The Adoption Studio in 2026 to help individuals and organizations adopt AI as a new way of working.
The working principle: the real barriers to adoption are almost never technical. They're about clarity, confidence, and having someone in your corner while the team tries it. AI is the newest version of an old problem, and the same playbook works, adjusted for the shape of the technology.

Four principles
Tech-agnostic by default.
AI may turn out to be the right answer for an organization's priorities, or it may not. Most engagements help leadership teams reach a defensible answer rather than starting from a tool recommendation.
Senior independent voice.
I do the work directly. No junior teams, no methodology decks generated by people who haven't sat with the client. The price reflects the work; the work reflects the experience.
AI in the work itself.
I use AI-assisted transcription, synthesis, and drafting tools as part of how I deliver. Demonstrating effective AI use is part of the value, especially in advisory engagements. Full data-handling and confidentiality protocols available on request.
Clear scope, flat fees where possible.
Most engagements are flat-fee, with scope changes priced separately at the time the change is made. Hourly billing is reserved for clearly scoped overruns and committee-approved expansions.
